MI performs emission test chamber measurements for coatings for its customers in accordance with EN 16402 accredited to ISO 17025:2018. Important to know: RMI is a recognized testing institute of RAL and is listed in the corresponding list of recognized testing institutes Prüfinstitute - Testing Institutes (blauer-engel.de). This means that results of emission tests determined at the RMI for interior plasters and paints in accordance with EN 16402 can be used to apply for the Blue Angel at RAL. The results of the emission test chamber measurement can be checked in a conformity assessment for compliance with the requirements of the respective label. 

It should be noted, however, that the experimental determination of VOC emissions is mandatory for interior plasters, but for coatings it is merely an alternative to the calculation of the VOC and SVOC content.
